Level 2 includes Student Book and Parent/Teacher Instruction Book. To insure proper understanding of each concept and skill, the parent is still highly involved in the teaching of Level 2. This level continues the use of word problems to teach addition and subtraction with borrowing and carrying (0 - 99), and introduces multiplication, division and fractions. The major algebraic ideas are being developed as your child learns arithmetic. The Student Book offers opportunities to apply and practice the concepts and skills covered in the lessons from Level 2. The Parent/Teacher Instruction Book clearly explains exactly WHAT TO DO and WHAT TO SAY for teaching the concepts and skills for Level 2. The format is conversational. Lessons are written for all learning styles. Lesson plans are clear and easy to use. No pre-preparation is needed to teach Level 2.
