The Giants of Philosophy is a series of dramatized presentations, in understandable language, of the concerns, questions, interests, and overall worldview of history’s greatest philosophers. Special emphasis on relevant explanations gives you a clear understanding of Western thought.
In this series you’ll survey four of the world’s most important philosophers in Year 1 of Worldviews of the Western World (Plato, Aristotle, St. Augustine, and St Thomas Aquinas) and six different philosophers in Year III (Hume, Kant, Hegel, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, and Sarte) . You’ll see how each philosopher created a complete and coherent system of thought, including their views on ethics, truth, politics, and aesthetics.
